All The Secrets That Have Been Kept From Me

I recently realized that my mother always keeps stuff from me and my sister. Most times she will wait until the absolute last minute to tell us. The first time I can remember her doing this was when my great auntie had pancreatic cancer. She told us the day before she died to tell us that she had cancer and wasn't doing well and she might not make it. Another time she did this is when my great grandma was dying. It was the summer after 9th grade during the pandemic.  All of our friends were at our house when she told us to get dressed to go see her because she might not make it through the night. When she said that me and Kyla were very confused because we didn't know anything was wrong with her. When we got to Mommie's house we said our goodbyes and then went home. Later that day we went back over there with Ja'Niya and Nadia and the rest of our family. After about 30 minutes she had died and everyone was crying everyone was so emotional it was so sad.

Reflection 8/10

Hey blog today was quite busy for me. I started  the day off a little late due to an orthodontist appointment #powerchains. I got to school around the middle of second period and the day just went on from there . During fourth period we did a diagnostic test. We also learned how to do the process of elimination. We learned that the are two absolutely wrong answers, one answer  that is somewhat right , and then there is the best answer.

Reflection 9/13

Hey blog I think class  went pretty smooth today  despite that one little interruption in the beginning. We briefly talked about how growing up too fast can be bad. We also read a poem that was honestly pretty interesting. The poem was about a boy who was sawing wood which is an adults job which led to him cut his hand and die.

Someone Being Born

The only person I can somewhat remember being born is my brother Jayce.  He was born March 26, 2018 at Northside Hospital. The day was honestly a blur. Me and Kyla had just gotten out of school when my grandma aka mamama came to get us and took us to the hospital I remember being nervous because my moms pregnancy was considered high risk because of her age. when we got to the hospital we waited a little then we went to the cafeteria and got some McDonalds. After that we went back up to the room and  saw the baby, he was so lightskinned and really looked like every other newborn I have ever seen. A few days after my mama and Jayce came home and got on my nerves.
